We are known for our technical excellence and quality of people
- so it is vital that we keep advancing skills at all levels. And
it's important to keep improving our performance in client care,
teamwork, people management, interpersonal skills, and
commercial
awareness.
Team work in action
Making sure we continuously develop the right skills so we can face
a continually changing business environment in a proactive manner,
lies at the heart of our new performance development review process
- a key element of our career development systems.
“The different experiences are great. We get to work
with the cream of the professionals – observing and learning all
the time.”
We set out to provide the right environment and resources for
everyone to develop their knowledge and skills. We all want career
progression and within the Group we have a Learning &
Development Programme. This takes on several forms but can be done
via distance learning, e-learning etc. We encourage our staff to
take up the opportunities that our Learning & Development
Programme offers – this can be anything from Project Leadership
skills to Promoting Team Creativity – we cover it! We also offer a
programme called Navigator which is for those people in the mid
stages of their career who are managing people and Horizons which
is targeted at staff in the early stages of their career which is
certified by Cranfield University. The Group's bespoke Ashridge
Management School based on Leadership Programme has been running
since 2001 and has helped develop our business leaders of the
future.
Health & Safety is avital and is an absolute necessity and so
all staff must complete our standard courses via e-learning.
We invest in a
graduate/school
leaver programme and employ at least 30 graduates/school leavers
each year.
And with our well established mentoring system, there is always
someone there for you when you need support and guidance
