Mott MacDonald has been awarded 8th place in the
prestigious Sunday Times Best Big Companies to Work For Survey,
2010. It is the third consecutive year that the consultancy has
made it into the top 10. Mott MacDonald is the only professional
services firm of its kind to make it to this tier.
Peter Wickens, Mott MacDonald’s chairman said, “We are very proud
and delighted to continue to feature among Britain’s top companies.
In an increasingly competitive environment and with more great
companies competing for places, it makes our achievement even more
significant. Our employees make Mott MacDonald a special place and
we aim to do our utmost to provide a stimulating and rewarding
environment for working and learning. As such, findings from this
exercise are used to inform positive changes to our employee
benefits offerings, which helps us to retain our talented
professionals.”
The Best Companies survey is an established barometer of workplace
opinion based on the responses of over 230,000 employees across 964
companies, and examines the key components of a happy, engaged and
successful workplace. It also evaluates each organisation’s key
statistics, processes and policies. The process involved employee
participation in the survey as well as completion of an
organisation questionnaire.
This top ranking for Mott MacDonald follows news that the
organisation has achieved, for the second year running, Best
Companies Two Star Accreditation status for 2010 which recognises
the company as having outstanding workplace engagement practices,
including exceptional motivation, inspiration and staff retention
levels.
