Benchmarking

Franklin + Andrews has a dedicated economic research unit which can analyse the cost of any type of construction against industry standards.

In conjunction with the project team involved in a project or as a stand-alone exercise, we act as a catalyst to challenge and assist design teams in working within financial constraints and can help identify areas needing further work and/or examples of excellence.

The benchmarking exercises can cover capital construction cost, the component parts of construction cost and life cycle/whole life cycle costs.

We also have a dedicated Economic Research Unit› who analyse and examine cost data relating to building services systems from a number of external sources. The unit produces a number of industry publications including Property Benchmarks Little Black Book which is available to order online from our website.
